YOUTH NEWS
A pool party was held at Brad Stitt's house on Saturday, November 19th. The youth thoroughly
enjoyed swimming in the pool, eating cheeseburgers, watching football, and playing some
billiards and lawn darts. Melanie Hershock, Kenny Rampersad, Cesar Torres, Kendel Park, Brad
Lewis, Andrew Roberts, Oliver Roberts, Patrick Eiseman, Dalton Fish, Matthew Melnick, Julia
Dang, Nicole Gamble, Wendy White, Andrew Eiseman and Pastor Jim were all in attendance.
Dalton has a fitting last name in that he was a Fish in the water at the party while Brad Lewis
and Cesar proved to be real pool sharks. Melanie was unbeatable when it came to lawn darts.
Brad Stitt proved to be a gracious host as well as an exceptional chef as he made some amazing
cheeseburgers on the grill.

ANGEL TREE UPDATE
All of our angels were missing!  What terrific news!  That means that the members of our
church purchased 66 $25 WalMart cards for underprivileged children in our community to
receive Christmas gifts!  Thanks to all who participated for making this another successful year!

PWP MEN
This regular meeting of the PWP Men will be at 6:30 PM on January 19, 2011 at the Fellowship
Hall. After a new and surprise lite supper, the PWPM will continue with their study of books of
the Bible. The men have previously studied Bernard of Clairvaux, a monk from the 1100 AD
era, who was often quoted by John Calvin, a father of the Reformed Faith. Now we will
review our acquaintance with him in order to go to see the Cloisters of the Ancient Spanish
Monastery, now located in North Miami. The Cloisters when in Segovia, Spain, was dedicated
to Bernard. Hearst bought the place and had it shipped in 10,000 boxes to Miami for
reassembly. It is now an Episcopal Church named after Bernard and it is open for tours.
The building is now the oldest building in the Western Hemisphere. Watch for the date in the
Worship Bulletin. Please contact Bill Skinner for a dinner count at 433-1170 or
BillSkinnerLW@aol.com at least 2 days before.

December 3rd many women of the church enjoyed the annual Christmas luncheon at
Madison Green. The first meeting in the new year will be Jan.7th at 10:00 am. All ladies are
welcome.
